Have you desired to traverse the pathways of new world views and discoveries? Or expand your awareness of Life in our Universe and your place in it? Have you felt inspired to cross the bridge from ignorance, war, anger, fear, worry and discord to expanded awareness, wisdom, a culture of love, kindness and peace and living in harmony with Mother Earth? Do you yearn for the spirit of Unity amongst humanity and feel an impulse to contribute?

Those of us who joined together and formed the foundation for Lifelong Education share those desires and experiences. We dream of transmuting the ignorance of prejudice and narrow-mindedness into the light of friendship, kindness, happiness and greater love and appreciation for others, in both our differences and shared common humanity. We dream of celebrating the virtues of all cultures, the uplifting of humanity into the spirit of Unity and the health and well-being of Mother Earth and all sentient beings.

That world-wide collective dream is in a state of becoming reality. How can Lifelong Education play its part? Lifelong Education contributes through conscious awareness and collaborative application catalyzed by the wise and loving contributions of great visionaries and change agents. They include world-wide scientists of many genres, philosophers, cosmologists, educators and artists from the past and the present. This formed a foundation for the creation of UAE - Lifelong Education, a Texasstate and USA federally recognized non-profit organization begun in Austin, Texas in late 2021. Our vision, mission and core values are focused on integral, ethical human development and improvement with a mission to expand consciousness and consolidate a culture of peace in the world.

Austin, Texas is part of the ancient El Camino Real - The Royal Road - that connects Mexico City, Mexico through Austin up to the Northeast Texas - Louisiana border.

We have so much to share with each other. Differences can cause us to expand our consciousness. Experiencing our common humanity draws us together in ways far beyond our imaginations or study in classrooms or the internet. Together we form pathways and cross bridges that unify humanity and nurture our happiness, love and kindness for this beautiful planet with all of its flora, fauna and sentient beings.

Through unification we move forward in resolving today’s environmental and relationship challenges.

The historical foundation for forming a relationship between UAE and LLE has roots as an ancient pathway called El Camino Real or The Royal Road. Today, El Camino Real connects the University of Albert Einstein located near Mexico City, Mexico with its nearby Sun and Moon pyramids, and Lifelong Education located in the Austin, Texas, USA area. For centuries, the Eastern El Camino Real followed natural springs and waterways from Mexico City northward through the Austin Texas area, to the East Texas and Louisiana area border town of Natchitoches, an area settled for over 10,000 years. El Camino Real was traveled by many ancient Native American civilizations in Central and North America. They shared cultures and traded goods long before the Europeans arrived hundreds of years ago and joined in using it as their trade and exploration route. Today, remnants of El Camino Real exist in portions of superhighways, and Texas State Park historical sites such as McKinney Falls State Park and the Barton Springs Pool near the Colorado River in Austin. Today, the pathway also exists in another way: in the sharing of our cultures, trade between our nations and now as an alliance pathway in UAE and LLE’s collaborative missions of expanding consciousness and a culture of peace in the world.

In harmony with our mission, in 2023, we joined in a partnership with the University of Albert Einstein (UAE) in Mexico. We collaborated in inviting college students at UAE who study English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), to explore and immerse in Texas culture through a series of Exploring Texas Culture interactive seminars. We have shared many topics of mutual interest and continue to explore the wide berth of topics available. During the 2024 - 25 UAE school year we continue to offer six online, interactive seminars to ESOL students. The seminars combine visual presentations, lively discussions, and practical themes like Austin’s internationally popular music venues, current global issues and practical solutions, ways to catalyze positive social change, top food spots, Texas school play yard games that combine fun with personal development, and the role of AI. We enjoy feedback and suggestions from students for future topics. Our seminars will continue on a yearly school year basis. PLUS, a week-long Texas immersion adventure in Austin is on the horizon for ESOL students at UAE!
