Mindfulness is about stopping, breathing, and truly experiencing the present moment. It’s a practice that brings relief, awareness, and connection, guiding you toward a deeper appreciation of life’s precious moments. The SLM Online Course offers an immersive, live experience to help you cultivate mindfulness and transform your relationship with stress.

This 9-session course, developed by the Latin American Mindfulness System (SLM), is taught by certified mindfulness experts with years of experience. Designed for busy lives, it equips you with tools to integrate mindfulness into your daily routine, bringing balance, focus, and clarity to both personal and professional aspects of life.

Course Structure

The course unfolds over 9 live online sessions:

•1 Introductory Session/Preliminary Talk: Get an overview of mindfulness and set your intentions.

•8 Weekly 2.5-Hour Sessions: Dive deep into mindfulness practices, including sitting meditation, walking meditation, body scans, and movement exercises.

Every session includes:

•Guided mindfulness exercises to develop and deepen your practice.

•Interactive sharing and check-ins to connect with the group and gain insights.

•Q&A opportunities to address challenges and enhance understanding.

You’ll also receive audio guides for your at-home practice to reinforce your learning throughout the week.

•A stable, high-speed internet connection.

•A computer with a camera and microphone (phones are not recommended).

  A quiet, undisturbed space for practice.

•Zoom™ video conferencing software installed and ready to use.

Most things, like cars, appliances, computers, clothing or food supplements are
complete unto their self, yet come with appropriate do’s, don’ts and instructions for proper care and use. Likewise, when we are born, most of us come complete with a body, mind, emotions and life force, yet, do we come with operational manuals?

Life and who we are is a perplexing mystery when we lack a manual. I found the Mindfulness course to be like a basic manual for using my natural-born abilities to live a ‘well-balanced’ Life. I learned how to use my mind and emotions through practical, everyday do’s, don’ts and applications that broaden my perspective and bring clarity and skills to decision making. By daily use of proper intention, focus, breath and other natural tools, I find, greater peace, clarity, happiness, awe and wonder, compassion, wisdom and love that impacts my life and others.

For example, the ‘raisin’ exercise, showed me how to experience the joy and satisfaction of living in the present moment while eating. The underlying principles of ‘raisin living’ have been applicable in other areas of my life. By focusing my attention on the present moment, I experience the natural world outside more deeply and realize how extraordinary clouds, flowers, trees, sunshine, rain and nature’s critters are. Instead of fearing a spider, I marvel at the perfection of their webs. Such experiences awaken greater compassion and appreciation in my heart. It spurs me on to serving Nature and humanity.


I also discovered that detrimental thoughts and emotions are like useful warning
signals in a car or computer of being ‘off-line’ and needing maintenance. The
Mindfulness course addresses those needs and offers a way for me to discover
solutions. I also feel calmer and more centered when confronted with difficulty.
Conversely, beneficial thoughts bring about good feeling emotions and inform that I am ‘online,’ ‘in the zone’ and fully operational. This along with additional practices within the course, led to being able to make some significant changes within which helped bring changes externally.


Some of the meditation practices help me relax and sleep better and others take me
into a higher state of awareness realizing that there is more to life than what I
experience with my five external senses. My inner senses of reason, correct
perception, imagination, creativity and intuition expand. Applying the Mindfulness
course leads to expanded Life experience that interplays with others and our planet. Overtime and with application there is confidence that even greater changes within will occur.
I highly recommend this ‘Life altering course manual’.
